OTHER: Referral to a physician is recommended if there is any question about the seriousness of the injury/exposure.
VENTILATION: General (i.e., natural or mechanically induced fresh air movements that maintain vapor concentrations below recommended exposure limits).
EYE PROTECTION: Chemical goggles or safety glasses with side shields.
SKIN PROTECTION: Cloth may be suitable; impervious (neoprene or rubber) gloves are recommended.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Not normally required. Where ventilation is inadequate to control vapors, use a NIOSH-approved respirator with organic vapor cartridges. Never enter a confined space without an appropriate air supplied respirator (e.g. SCBA or air line with escape pack.
HANDLING AND STORING PRECAUTIONS: Store in a cool, dry area. Keep from freezing. Store between 40° and 100° F. Flammable. Keep away from ignition sources such as heat, sparks and open flames. For industrial use only. Keep out of reach of children. Use with adequate ventilation. Do not get into the eyes. Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with the skin. Practice good hygiene; i.e. wash after using and before eating or smoking.
SPILL PROCEDURES: Remove any ignition sources. Take up with an absorbent material and place in a container for proper disposal in accordance with all applicable local, state, or federal requirements.
HAZARD COMMUNICATION: This MSDS has been prepared in accordance with the federal OSHA Hazard Communication Standard.

MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET
HILTI, INC.:
PRODUCT NAME: CC 321 Part B DESCRIPTION: Hardener for urethane resin INGREDIENTS AND EXPOSURE LIMITS
PEL = OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit. TLV = ACGIH Threshold Limit Value. These are 8 hour time-weighted averages unless otherwise indicated by "C" (Ceiling) or "STEL" (Short Term Exposure Limit). NA = Not Applicable. NE = None Established. * = Recommended exposure level (Re: ACGIH intended changes). PHYSICAL DATA
FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD DATAFLASH POINT: 91° F Setaflash FLAMMABLE LIMITS: Not Determined EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: CO2, Dry Chemical, Alcohol Foam SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: A positive pressure NIOSH-approved self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn when fighting fires involving chemicals. Remove all sources of ignition. UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: Flammable liquid. Vapors are heavier than air. Internal (container) pressure increases when exposed to heat or fire. HDI reacts (polymerizes) with water. REACTIVITY DATASTABILITY: Stable. INCOMPATIBILITY: Water/moisture, amines, gases, alcohols, surfactants, metal compounds. HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Thermal decomposition yields CO, CO2, NOx, HDI and various hydrocarbons. HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION: Will not occur. Moisture or materials that react with isocyanates and temperatures above 400° F may cause polymerization. CONDITIONS TO AVOID: Exposure to excessive heat or storage above 100°F will shorten the shelf life of this product. HEALTH HAZARD DATAKNOWN HAZARDS: Irritation. Sensitization. Central nervous system depressant. Inhalation of high solvent vapor concentrations (e.g. in enclosed areas) can lead to nausea, dizziness, loss of consciousness. Repeated chronic (including abuse) inhalation of vapors can cause memory loss and other target organ effects. CARCINOGENICITY: No ingredients are classified by IARC, NTP, or OSHA as known or potential carcinogens. PRIMARY ROUTES OF EXPOSURE: Dermal. Inhalation.
